I got dressed up today!

    I was feeling kind of bummed yesterday when I said I couldn't care less what I look like. So I set my alarm for earlier than the babies get up took a shower, actually did my hair, put on a nice prepregnancy dress (one of the few I can fit into), and put on some makeup. I have to say I'm happy, maybe it's worth losing a little sleep to feel more like a human being. DH was quite happy too! ;)

    That's great! Maybe I should try that one day. Problem is my girls get up so early (5:30 am) that I just don't think I would actually get up early enough to do all that.

    Do you think it's something you'll continue to do?

    Good for you! Sometimes I have to admit that I take 30min from their first nap of the day and have a shower, half do my hair, put my dress sweats on, and even put mascara and blush on. It usually motivates me to actually leave the house then. Or perhaps go out with dh for a few hours that evening.

    I have days like that too. Sometimes I get up a bit early to shower and "clean up" a bit in the morning and then there are days when I wait until they go down for their afternoon nap to shower. I feel better when I shower in the morning, but sometimes that extra 30 min of sleep is key for the day ;)

    LOL well congrats on that I did just the opposite I over slept and didn't even get a shower threw on clothes and drove like a maniac to work....Thank God for deoderant and pafume?
