I get babies this Friday!

Of course, if we don't go into labor on our own prior to then. I will be 37 weeks +1 day. I'm so excited, we are getting our last little bit of everything done here at home this weekend. I still have to pack all of our overnight bags. That leads me to the question- How long should I pack for? I know that's kind of a loaded question because so many things could happen. So far, we've had a very uneventful pregnancy and provided we make it to Friday and 'full term' I wonder how long they keep twins in the hospital. For those of you who made it this far, how long was it before you got to take your babies home?

my girls were born at 38 weeks and came home with me! I had a c-section and we came home when they were just 2 days old!

 

c-section here and 5 days because they had a day of low body temps so they kept them (and me) one extra night

 

Oh how exciting! You are super close!!! I hope your labor is smooth and that the babies do wonderfully! WTG getting to 37 weeks!!!

 

I had a c/s and was in the hospital for 5 days. I delivered at 38 weeks and 1 day. Good luck, Momma! I wish you and your little ones a safe and happy delivery!

 

Yeah!!! Good for you for cooking those babies so long! I had a c-section at 37w5d and we all went home 3 days after delivery. The girls never left my side. Good Luck!

P.S. I am also a pediatric RN and yes, we do rock!

 

YEA! How exciting!!
I was in the hospital for 4 days total ~ I had my girls on 12/28 in the early morning (planned c-section) and left on 12/31 (new years eve!) in the afternoon.
