I gave in

OH before I start this post. I was ChipmunkeyMom, but I changed my name. I hope you like it!

I decided to flip the car seats around. The boys were trying to climb in on their own and were having troubles. Also their legs were up against their chest, and it was obvious the belt buckle was pressing in to their legs. I noticed a little mark on their legs. So, I just flipped around the seats and listened to them both cheering "Wheeee!" all the way to school. It was music to my ears! They loved the new direction as they could now see us and where they are going.

 

When I flipped my girls' carseats around to be front facing they did the same thing! They would say, "wwweee!" around corners! Reminds me of the commerical on tv with the pig holding the pin wheel in the mini van!Totally priceless!

 

Good for you for keeping them RF for so long!! I gave in long ago......

 

congrats! Mine have been FF since they outgrew their baby carseats, i.e. over 9kg (about 20 lbs). They love seeing where they´re going too

 

Glad the boys like being forward facing now! I turned my two around age two and they were absolutely thrilled with the new change of scenery!
