Last winter was a battle for DS and chapped face. I tried the normal routine:

    Aquaphor
    Eucerin creme
    Eucerin lotion
J&J Naturals stick (this worked pretty well)
    Baby oil

I hated using mineral oil or petrolatum products because they blocked the pores on his face.

DD has ended up with severe chapping already, so I sent DH to Whole Foods for some kind of remedy. She has reacted to everything. I even tried buying Burt's Bee's Carrot Nutritive creme, but she broke out on the chapping!

The BEST thing ever......California Baby Calendula Cream. The package says it's recommended for eczema and other skin sensitivities; hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, no nut oils, soy oat or dairy. I put a little on my face and then on hers. Wow, it soaked right in and no reaction.

Thanks. I've heard a lot of good things about California Baby. I just wished they sold it locally.

Oooh - our Target just started carrying a limited amount of it, but I hadn't heard anything about it. Maybe we will have to try it out for my eczema babes.
