...and it was funny to look back to April 2006. When I looked at it it said that the girls had consumed 20 oz. of fomula along with baby food and cereal. Hehehe...she was only 9 months old at the time. It's was just funny to see the difference between what they ate a year ago and what they are eating now. GEESH!!! How things can change in only 1 year with kids is amazing! BTW, why did I keep journaling for that long...hehehe, I don't know!

Isn't it fun to find things like that? A few months ago, I found the binder that I had for N & G for their first six months. I had made charts so I could remember who ate when, which breast they ate from, when they pooped/peed, when they slept, their weights, etc. I found myself pouring over it and then I was in tears... I couldn't believe they were ever that little... that we ever monitored their intake/output so carefully. It is amazing how fast it has all gone. I put that binder back on the shelf so that I could "find" it again someday!

I kept our breastfeeing logs for that purpose. It will be neat to look back on. :D

I kept a journal for 9 months too! I finally quit when I realized it was stressing me out to remember to write everything down, and that their schedule was pretty predictable anyway. I did enjoy looking through it a couple of months ago, but then I threw it out because it was taking up several inches of space in my file drawer. It did make me a little nostalgic -- especially the part about feeding for 10 min from the right breast and 10 from the left (since I quit BF at 5 weeks).
