I found a solution to keeping socks on!

I hate losing baby socks! and about a week or so ago I saw a post on someone else asking how to keep babies socks on their feet so you're not losing them everywhere you go. so I did a search, and found this web site that sells what they call baby sock keepers. they're perfect for keeping socks on. I got a bunch of pairs, and haven't lost a sock since! here's the web site. www.babysockeepers.com

let me know if anyone else tries them out. I love 'em, just wondering if anyone else would like them as much as I do. maybe I could get some as gifts to go with socks when I give them as a baby gift if I'm not the only one who likes them. I have tons of friends having babies.

Is it like a scrunchy for the ankle???

 

those things look really neat. my girls are 10 months old now...do you think they would be too tight for their ankles? they are not really chunky, but not really skinny either. i wish i knew about these when they were smaller!

I have no clue but those pictures dont seem to do the product much justice. I believe that the sock holder thingie is actually under the cuff of the sock??? If that is the case then how do you know what the look like from those pics?

 

it is sorta like a scrunchy for the ankle, but baby size. I agree the pic doesn't do it justice. they should show it against a darker sock.

and yes I think they would fit a 10 month old. so long as they're not too chunky. I think they might be too tight for really chunky babies though. I wonder if they'll come out w/ larger sizes for bigger babies too?

 

After looking at them, all it is is a peice of elastic that has either velcro or a snap that wraps around the socks. You could buy elastic, probably 1/2" and make them yourself! So if your babies have chunky legs you could make them any legth you would like to. Very easy and inexpensive to make. I don't really think it's worth it just because babies love being barefoot! I gave up on socks unless they ahve shoes on. Plus I'm all about saving money and making things myself!!
