Well, last night at work. I posted to get all of my night shifts covered and posted one week earlier for my maternity leave. I just feel so wimmpy about doing it. If all goes as planned, I am going to keep working my 2 afternoon shifts for the next two weeks and then be done. That is of course, if anyone will pick up my shifts. I am just so exhausted by 5 o'clock that I just want to sit on the couch and cry and the contractions are pretty intense by evening time, that cleaning up after kids isn't something I can do and I feel really bad about letting the other girls do it for me.

Another girl had a baby in January, and she didn't stop working before she had her baby. I guess I just feel like I am giving up this time. I mean, with the twins, I worked 7 hours a day the week before I had them.

I just had to tell someone why I feel like such a wimp. Everytime I saw something to DH he tell sme to quit complaining. He claims he is just kidding, but I am so sensitive right now, I just don't want to hear it.

:hug99: Everyone hits a wall generally. With my twins it was when I hit 36 weeks. I've been hitting a wall a lot lately with this pregnancy. DH's just don't get it!

My last day of work was Friday and Olivia was born on Sunday. I was "supposed" to have had her on Thursday. I am SO bummed I didn't get Mon/Tues/Wed to myself (girls would've been at the sitter) to get the house clean, RELAX, SLEEP, clean, get my pedicure...etc.

I do'nt blame you for bailing out early :) I wish I would've quit sooner (had I known she would come early). I don't htink you are being whimpy at all!

I know you have probably heard this a million times already but every pregnancy is different. When you were PG with your twins, your job was your only job and you didnt have to take care of twins and 2 year old twins at that. Give your self some credit, you have come along ways and being pregnant isnt always easy! Your entiteled to feel what you are feeling!!!!!! Take care of you, get some rest. Your reward will be here soon. What you are feeling now will be in the past and you will be holding and loving on your new baby soon. Hang in there Jenn!!!!! :hug99: :hug99: :hug99:

When you were pregnant with your twinkies, you didn't have twins to chase/clean/cook after!! You are no wimp!

I hit my wall a LONG time ago. I envy you being able to still work and move around. Close, we are very close though. Hang in there!!

THanks everyone for making me feel tougher. I finally realized that the girl who just had her baby worked in the afternoon so she was ready to go home at 4 not just starting her shift. People actually picked up my shifts, so I only have to work Friday 12-4, Tuesday 12-4 and then Friday 12-4 again and then I am done. Even though I feel like I kind of gave up, I am so relieved to know that I don't have to work anymore night shifts though.
