I feel like I'm squishing my babies when I sleep

Sleeping on my side has gotten really uncomfortable because my babies are so crowded. It feels like I'm laying on one of them. Does anyone else feel like this? I've heard some people support their belly with a pillow, but this seems to squish them even more.

 

i felt the same exact way and asked around and asked my doctor. there is so much padding between them and outside theres pretty much no way to squish them, i mean not in any sleepiing position or anything, if u got smushed between something that would be different, but nope, not while u sleep or bend over or anything like that. Not even daddy can smush them anyway. i went out and got myself a body pillow and it was the best investment i've ever made. i put it between my legs, under my belly and hug it. it is as comfortable as i can get. hope this helped

 

Thanks ashnlexi. I have a body pillow, and at first it was great, but now nothing seems to work. It's good to know that I can't actually smush the babies though. I just keep saying, this wont last forever.

 

I feel like im squishing my twins too its hard to sleep in the first place then to add worrying about the babies being squished

 

Im so with you mama!! I am SOOOO uncomfortable whenever I go to bed. Its so annoying!! It's so hard! It takes me maybe a hour or 2 just to get comfortable and fall asleep. Plus, I can't breath if im not in the right position. But we have to hang in there! Take care!!

 

Add me to the list of "squishing babies" :lol: Realistically I know I'm not, but when I lay on my right side, my little boy's head is on that side (babies are semi transverse right now), and he kicks like he's being squished! I always giggle that my little girl is asserting her dominance on him! :wub:

 

Me too.. and bedrest means ALL I DO is lie on them!
