They went to bed at 7:30, everything was fine. They were talking and playing like normal. Bea finally fell asleep, but for the past hour, Ainsley has been fussing and now is in total hysterics and I have no idea why. I've gone in a few times and so has DH. We've reassured her, picked her up, asked her what's wrong, and have no clue. She doesn't appear to be sick. The thing that set off the hysterics was I went in, she was whining and holding up her blanket, and I couldn't understand her and didn't know what she wanted me to do. So I put the blanket on her and kissed her goodnight. Then she woke up Bea, so we redid our goodnights and now she's screaming "Mama Dada" and flipping out.
I really don't know what to do. I guess the only thing to do is CIO. I was going to take her out of the room and try to calm her down, but then with Bea waking up, that nixed that plan. I didn't want to take them both out if Bea is fine. UGH! Help!

Well, she finally fell asleep. I did take her out of the room to calm her down, and I thought I even had her talked into the idea of going back to bed. After I put her down though, back to the hysterics. It lasted another 15 min. She didn't fall asleep until 10:45, she is going to be TIRED tomorrow. :(

My clingy twin does this too! My DH can put him to bed and he will whine for a little bit, then he is quiet. I put him to bed, and OMG, you would think I was leaving him forever! When I put them down, I tell them it is time to go night night like we do for dada. He is a fireman, so he is not home every night. The other night he cried for a couple of minutes, then was fine. I know it is hard! Is she extra clingy during the day too? I think it is a separation phase they go through.
