Hey everyone, I just received an email from someone claiming to be a representative from a company I've been interacting with, but something feels off. I want to make sure I'm not being scammed. How can I check the authenticity of the sender's email address?

Verifying the sender's email address is crucial in avoiding scams. One method is to carefully examine the email address itself. Sometimes scammers use slightly altered versions of legitimate email addresses to deceive recipients. Look for any misspellings or unusual characters in the sender's address. You can also always use https://letsextract.com/email-verifier.htm special services. What i think is that such services are a good way to actually check an e-mail for being valid

Additionally, you can hover your mouse over the sender's name or email address in the email header. Most email clients will display the actual email address behind the name. This can help you spot any discrepancies between the displayed name and the actual email address.
