I don't want this stage to end!

My girls will be 4 in May and lately they are all about showering love on mommy. I sing them "the sunshine" song every night and now they sing it with me only they substitute "mommy" when I say sunshine. Last night Jamie said, "I love you to the moon and bouncing off the sun and the stars and back". Then Nicole gave me double hugs this morning and said, "I love waking up and I know you're my mommy". They're thanking me for little things I do for them and basically being grateful wonderful little children. Can I bottle this, and save it for when they're teenagers. Anyone else feeling the love?

Sometimes I get so teary thinking about how they're growing up and they're going to leave me someday!!! I was telling Catherine this one day and she said "Mommy, I'm going to leave you on the school bus". I thought that was pretty funny!

 

How sweet! You need to get out the video camera and tape them so you can save it forever. It's a great stage isn't it?!

Oh me too. I love the I love you's and the "thank you mommy". It melts my heart

 

So sweet! My boys have also become little lovers...especially Ben. Oh my goodness, he has become the most affectionate little boy. He kisses and hugs me all day long. He also tells me sponateously...that .."I love my mommy...so much". It's wonderful and I hope it lasts as long as possible.
