Its almost synagis shot time [IMG] I just feel so bad always taking them for shots though I know they need it and its better than seeing them suffer in the hospital but still I just feel bad. Just a week ago these poor babies were in getting their 6 month and flu shots [IMG] Now I get to take 2 completely innocent babies, lay them on a table, hold their arms down and make them scream [IMG] Poor babies. Im sure ds is going to freak too, normally he just says baby shots since he doenst have to get the synagis anymore but last week he got his flu shot so Im sure he will be thinking hes getting one again. All those that have help when you go for shots, be thankful! I go alone with 3 kids and I dont like it! Doesnt help that I have to take the stupid rental van that smells like smoke [IMG] Never thought Id say it but I cant wait to have my van back(dh took it in for an oil change and came home with a rental because something cracked and its about 3000 in damage that has to be repaired...thank God it was seen before we left for our drive to Ca)

Ok done complaining now, must go get the diaper bags packed. Wish us luck

Oh, good luck, I know EXACTLY what it's like to take 2 babies and a toddler to get shots all by myself. Talk about stress and guilt! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I'm lucky, I always have help. But I know what you mean about feeling guilty. I told dh that he is going to take them next time.

Im right there with you, we just went on Monday and the nurse was really rough with them, she basically jabbed their shot in. Noah didnt breath for about 5 seconds because he cried so hard.

Cassie! That's hard!! I know it's ROUGH to take them all with you to the doc!! Much less have all of them freaking out!! [IMG]

We had our 6 month shots today, so I know what you mean, I went alone, luckily just me and the twins! It's hard when you know they both need cuddling, and can only do one at a time! [IMG]

    Good luck Cassie!

My doctor told me to get lidocaine cream (over the counter)LMX 5. Slather it on the leg and cover with plastic wrap an hour before their appointment. They won't feel a thing. Why have them suffer and develop a needle phobia (like I have).

Ughh I feel your pain today! I had to take K&K this morning for their last check up before they start Kindergarten next fall, 3 shots apiece and they actually had me sit them in my lap and hold them. The fact that now they look right at me and ask why I have to torture them breaks my heart [IMG].

    Hope it went well!
