I don't hear anything!

Our latest chapter in the Ainsley nap saga has been that I put her in the PNP at naptime, she screams and cries for an hour, then I go get her and she sleeps on me for 1-1.5 hrs. It wasn't perfect, but I was just happy that she was finally napping. Well today, I put her down, heard her screaming a bit, but then I haven't heard anything for at least an hour. Could it be true? Could she actually be napping on her own? It has seriously been over three months since she has napped on her own. I don't want to jinx it, but at least for today I'll say:  :a_smil09:

I'm sending you nap vibes... If you really haven't heard anything for an hour, it sure sounds like a nap to me. Fingers crossed that it's the start of a trend.

That's great Kelly!!! I must admit, I'm jealous. Mine are upstairs having a party - going on 1.5 hours now :(

Great news Kelly! Oh and Melissa I so sympathize with you. Sofia chatted for over 2 hrs yesterday before she finally fell asleep, and even then she only slept for about 30 minutes. I have this dreaded feeling that she wants to give up naps, but I'm sticking to my guns.

Hopefully for you this is a trend. I love naptime....its my sanity to get some housework done or catch up on my favorite show.....I am gonna be upset when they go to one nap a day

Melissa, did your two ever go back to napping after you took their pacis away?

Well, today she slept on me again for nap. It was sort of my fault. She was sitting with me on the couch before naptime and I wasn't paying attention, and she fell asleep. I tried setting her down but it woke her up, she resettled on me again and so I spent another day sitting motionless for two hours. But hey, she napped and I guess that is the important thing. She was grouchy and clingy all day, I think she might be coming down with something, all she wanted to do was lay on me. :(

Yes... it took about 4-5 days though. They took a great nap today. It was nice and overcast outside! I can't figure out what makes them nap or not nap though. The worst is when they poop 2x each during nap and I have to go in and change it. That definitely keeps them from napping! I usually get a nap about 50% of the time, but sometimes it takes a while for them to settle down :(
