I have been absolutely dreading taking all three boys out (the one year old and the twins) for a while now, so I bit the bullet and took them to a mom's group playdate this morning. We didn't stay long, but I found that it wasn't nearly as difficult as I was expecting it to be. The only hard part is getting everyone loaded up, in and out of the car and in and out of the stroller (I'm sure there are people who will kill me for doing this, but I put the twins in the back part of the double stroller together since we weren't going far). I'm really glad I spent the money on the Duo Double diaper bag, too. It was really nice to get out. They've only been to and from the doctor's office so far. I was expecting stares and comments, and I got a few, but everyone was really nice. So, yay for my first experience being a good one!
Yay!!!!! Good for you!!!! A one year old and one-month old twins .... kudos to you for being brave and going out! I was so petrified to take them out, I waited until after my 6-week checkup and when I finally got out I couldn't figure out how to open up the stroller so I carried the two babies in their carriers to a mom's group. Glad you had a good time!!!
 That's so great. I totally know how you feel. I have a 3 yo DD and it was and still can be (depending on where we are going) very daunting. The more and more you do it, the easier it will become. Congrats!!

I can fit all four of my boy's stuff in it (I have an almost 8 year old, so I can throw in a book or a DVD too) no problem, and with room to spare. My one year old's juice cup, which is an abnormal shape and size fit in the mesh cup holder on the sides perfectly too. Here's a list of what fit. -six diapers (for the twins) -four diapers (for Blake) -four burp rags -four onesies -four bibs -two bottles -one sippy cup -travel sized powder, A&D and Butt Paste -travel trash bags (it's really cool, they're all rolled up in this little thing with a plastic duck) -toys -two extra blankets -changing pad -pack of wipes -two packets of pre-made formula -cell phone and wallet -two books of Andrew's I'm in love with it, in case you didn't notice.
such a triumphant feeling isn't it? took me 3 months to go anywhere but the dr's by myself--and it's not as tough as i thought it would be....but i don't have a 1 year old running around!! kudos to you, its a major milestone sandra
