I ventured out on my own today with the twins. I was gone for about two hours. I needed to nurse my dd twice and my ds once, but that's ok, I still did it. I just needed to get past the first time, YEA!!!

yeeeeehaaaaaaa!!! isn't it such a great feeling to see something other than the inside of your home??? Congratulations. it gets easier everytime and you really do start to feel human again!
That is awesome. Don't you feel like SUPERMOM!!!!??? The more you do it, the easier it gets. You rock and are an inspiration to other new twin mommies!!!
That's awesome!! I haven't managed to do that yet, I bow down to you Where did you go? The only place I've managed to take them alone is for a walk around the block a few times!
Great Job!!! The more you do it the easier it will get, you'll figure out a routine (and how to avoid all those twin gaukers when you feel the need) in no time and you'll feel SSSOOOOO empowered

I went to my church for a discussion, which I wasn't really able to enjoy since I was leaving the room and feeding them, but that's OK! It would have been nice to listen to the discussion, but my goal was getting out of the house and being able to handle them on my own. YEA! I'm thinking of going to the grocery store to buy 5 or 6 items on Friday. My sister told me feed them well and be gone for only 45 minutes, which means shop for only only 20 for me. At subsequent shopping outings, I could lengthen the time out, which is what she did. She said this helps with keeping the stress low while being out. I wish you the best!!!
Yeah!!! It feels so good the firs time you do it, and after that it gets easier. I started taking them out at about 7or 8 weeks and haven't stopped I love it. dawn
Now that you have done it, you will do it more and more and the living in a cave thing will be a thing of the past! Good for you!
