The girls and I went to a park/playground for the first time 1) ever! and 2) by ourselves today! :a_smil09: They had a blast and so did I! I think it helped that the entire playground had those wood chips down and the girls didn't have their sea legs yet, so were a little hesitant about running off, straying too far I put them in the swings, Searra immediately loved it and Ellie warmed up after a little while! They were so friendly with the other kids and adults there it was really cute! I did forget however how much conversation with random strangers that twins can generate! I feel so much better having done it B) And I'm officially a Valco convert...I walked about a mile on rough, uneven paving from the allergist office to the park with a bum wrist and the stroller was awesome!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :a_smil09:  :a_smil09:
Congratulations! I bet it felt great to see your little ladies out there having a great time. Good for you! And I'm glad you love your valco too! Reyna
The best part about those little bucket swings is that you can "trap" one twin while the other twin is running around! Then they can trade.... We only go to THAT kind of playground now that they can run in different directions, LOL!
Glad you had a good time!! I'm a Valco convert as well, I walked about .5/mile on rough grass carrying the baby on my hip and it was a breeze!!
Aw, thanks guys  I've been eagerly watching the weather to see when it'll be good to go again! Besides on the days I'm working, because it always seems to work out that way!
Congrats! It is incredibly tiring, esp. when they do start running, but - hooray for getting out!! My two are 13 months and still fit in one of those bucket swings together, back to back (if they're not really bundled up. There are only two of those at the park we go to and sometime I put them in it and tell them that "we have to give someone else a chance" - but really i just love to see them together! (Bad Mommy!) And hooray for a stroller you love! Amazing what a difference that makes.
