ok so it was only a walk up down to the corner market and back, but I DID IT!!! And it went GREAT! My 3 year old insisted on riding his bike. I told him that he could but he needed to listen. He had to stop at each driveway, he had to get off his bike to cross the street and downhills. I also told him that if he didn't do these things we wouldn't go for a walk again or a bike ride, and it was very important that he listened..... and you know what.... he did. OMG I feel like supermom!!! Thanks for letting me boast.
You are more brave than me!!! I couldnt even take all three to the market yesterday!!! But i did take them all on a walk... (my neighborhood is full of HUGE Hills... I wanna loose the weight... HEHEHE)
Congratulations! Now that you have done it once you'll have to take a longer trip out next time! You should be proud of yourself.
I'll admit I cheated and bought skittles for the trip home. He got a few at each corner. lol and it took me about 40 min to get us all out of the house. I can't imagine if we were going for more than a walk... lol
YEAH! CONGRATS! And you will get faster ... it's usually my 3 yo who slows everything down (other shoes, take toys, and many other excuses).
A couple of weeks ago i felt the same way on my first outing, just me and the twins....no help carrying diaper bags or getting the stroller out of the car....i felt so empowered! So glad you could have the same feeling! way to go! sandra
