I can't get his hand out of my shirt!

I know it's a comfort thing. He's never breastfed (I don't count the 1st 2 weeks where I tried and then gave up). He also has his hand down his own pants at every possible moment (he must live in onesies because of this). So my question is - how do I get him to stop? Will he outgrow this? I am constantly removing his hand and he really just seems to be getting worse.

 

Rhea, Seamus just started doing this. He does it a lot if we are around other people and he is nervous and wants me to hold him! My nephew did this to his mom all the time! Dont know how to stop it but just wanted to share- oh and I did not breastfeed either!

 

:laughing: Rhea! My kids have all gone through this phase. I promise it does stop. Will was my worst. He would do it all the time! I would just take his hand out and tell him no, over and over and over!

 

My 8 YO DD constantly wants to massage my breasts. She has not breastfed in 7 years! I recently accompanied her on a school bus field trip and felt like I was being molested by another high-school kid in the back seat!!!!

YIKES!

She (and her younger sister) do seem to be growing out of it. Why is it when anyone in my family needs comfort they go for my boobs?????????

 

DS did it for a while, and he was BFd for 18 mos. He still does it when really tired or stressed, but he's quit with the gratuitous fondling for the most part. He used to do it in stores and in public, and I would just calmly remove his hand and tell him we do that at home. Didn't make a big deal out of it. Didn't bother me, but I'm sure it would bother some strangers.
