i will apologize for tmi now. is there anyone else out there that can not control thier bladder? I went to L & D because I thought my fluid was leaking (it wasnt thank goodness) Even after I go to the restroom and pee 2x before getting up, as soon as I get up and walk toward my bed I dribble alittle. it doesnt feel like im peeing but it cant be coming from anywhere else. I use to do the keagle* exercises but since being put on bedrest and pelvic rest I cant do them, so I dont know how to stop ot from happening. even if I dont have to pee it still will dribble. I am resorting to buying pad and panty liners to stop making any kind of mess. and its SO embarrassing ;-( Any suggestions? any way to get it to stop?? I still have about 9-10wks before even talking section date etc. So am i going to pee on myself for the next 2 months :bad:

I would suggest getting panty liners. I had severe bladder control issues while pregnant with DS and the girls and things aren't completely normal yet. ;) DH used to make fun of me every time I would laugh or sneeze because I'd say "I think I peed a little." The things we have to go through to have children. Ain't it great! lol

I'm right there with you ~ yuck ~ I hate it!
I have had to wear panty liners or pads for the past 4 weeks at least - not fun.
I'm just thankful that I don't/can't go anywhere at this point but be at home!!!! :)
    You are not alone!!!!!!!

I recommend the Poise pads. I have had bladder issues since the section with my daughter.

I have trouble with leaking since around 18 weeks. Embarassing. Luckily i am on bedrest so don't have to worry about being in public when it happens. I try to cross my legs when I get up and it kind of helps. I guess the pads are the only other thing to do.

I did have one time when I thought my water broke and got to the doctor and had just peed on myself. Doctor was very understanding. I think if that happens to you....better to be safe than sorry and should get checked out.

When my water broke with my oldest DD I knew it. It was a big gush, plus I had just gone to the bathroom so know it wasn't that, and I couldn't control this at all. That said though, throughout the whole day prior to my water breaking I felt very wet and like I was having leaks, so I do wonder if it was leaking throughout the day as well.

Sometimes when I sneeze I'll look at my husband and say "I just peed my pants." He always gets a good laugh out of it. That's the only time I ever leak thank goodness.

If it makes you feel any better--I have exactly the opposite problem. I have to go so bad my yes are watering, i sit down, and nothing (and I mean NOTHING) comes out. :( If I jiggle and rock back and forth, I can squeeze out a little trickle.

The bladder is an inefficient design. If I could have half of your problem, and you could have half of mine, we'd both have relief!!!

I just started having to wear pads again because of leaking. If I get up to soon, cough, have a B/H contraction, sneeze (of course I have a cold right now). I've had it happen at work, and I had to dash to the bathroom. It sucks, but it's not forever.
