We are on our last can of formula. I can't even believe it, where has the time gone?
How was the transition to whole milk? How about soy milk? do your babies like flavored soy milk?

Also, do any of you do the Next Step Enfamil? I have a small can of it...

    TIA

I haven't switched yet either...I've been thinking about it....

Are they still taking bottles? Mine still get 4 a day. I am trying so hard to get down to 3 (some days are better than others). I feel like I am feeding them lots of solids.

Oh well, didn't mean to hijack with other questions :FIFblush: Good luck and I hope it all goes well!

My guys swithed cold turkey at 11 months. They actually seemed to like the whole milk better.

Right there with ya! I didn't think it would be such an emotional event! :) I am thinking to try instead of the bottle after their morning nap to give them milk in a sippy with their lunch. Then do the same thing next week with their after afternoon nap bottle and give that to them with dinner. Don't know what I'll do with the morning bottle...guess just get out of bed and moving earlier so they can have a cup with breakfast (but that bottle is sooo nice to get me another 15 minutes of sleep in the am!! ;) ) As for the last bottle of the night right before bed, they are really becoming not that interested in it any more, so I'll decrease the amount until its gone...
Hope this helps (and I hope it works for us!!)
    :) Nicole

We switched at 9 months per our peds recommendation. They were on soy formula, so we switched to soy milk. The first carton I bought was the vanilla flavored(by accident), and they LOVE IT! So I have stuck with the vanilla flavored since. They have always been so hard to feed because of the reflux, I don't want to ruin this wonderful change!!! Good luck and congrats!

Oh yeah, ours are still on bottles. I've been a slowpoke introducing the sippy cup. I have tried a few times, but they are not taking to it.
I think I give 4 botttles a day, plus a 2oz. bottle of diluted apple juice about an hour before dinner.

We are in the middle of "transitioning" right now. We are down to 4 - 6oz bottles a day. What I have been doing is buying Organic Whole Milk and putting 2oz of it mixed with 4oz of formula for the past four days, after one week I'll move it up to 4oz milk - 2oz formula and that last week will be all formula. They are doing really well with it and seem to like the bottles better. We attempt sippy cups everyday with diluted juice or water but they still can't really get the hang of it yet! Good luck!
