And it's 0900 right now! They've been STTN [pretty much] for the last four days straight! [lately it's been only one every few nights]. I consider STTN when they wake up after 0500.

They woke up at 0645 and 0700 to eat and went back to sleep like little angels. And for some unGodly reason I wasn't able to go back to bed.. so here I am ^_^

I should go wake them up though.. Otherwise our napping schedule will be ALL messed up, lol.

    Thought I'd share

Congrats! Isn't that the WORST---when the kids are finally sleeping and YOU can't sleep or aren't tired? Ugh, that happens to me ALL the time!

Congrats! If you don't mind sharing, what is your napping schedule? Yours are just a little older than mine and we're still kind of winging it :) I think it's evolving into a schedule, sort of, but definitely not a dependable one! Mine usually sleep from midnight to 6 and then again until 9 (I don't wake them b/c I go back to sleep!), and then we get dressed and start our day of nurse, play, nap, still on an on demand kind of basis...I'm definitely looking forward to getting them into a more structured nap schedule, but we're not there yet! I'd love to hear your routine!

    Here's our 'routine':

Wake up for the day is usually around 0630-0730 [it's weird, for the past week maybe they'll wake up and not want to eat.. instead they'll want to just 'play'] if they're hungry I'll feed them. Then we 'play'/activity time: tummy time, practice sitting up, singing, go for a walk in the stroller [depending on the weather], etc.. I do this until they start to get cranky/tired. That's usually between 1.5 - 3 hrs. Then I'll feed them and put them down for a nap [in separate places in the house]. They usually go down fairly well and for about one or two feedings [they'll sleep anywhere from 1-4hrs during this time]. I encourage them to nap as much as they can until around 1700. But if they just want to play, then I let them. Sometimes they'll wake up from napping around 1400 and take a short nap around 1700. Then we like to keep them up for at least 2 hrs before bedtime [2030-2100].

    Long story short:

    Wake up, play [0630-0730ish]
    Put down once tired [1.5 - 3hrs]
Let nap until they want to be up again.. [between 1400-1600ish] [duration of one to two feedings]
DH usually comes home between 1600-1800 so he helps when he gets home so I can make dinner, wash bottles, take a shower, etc..
They hang out and usually take two 30 min naps before bedtime [2030-2100]

Hope this helps a little ^_^

P.S. for example.. today they went down for a nap at 1215 and 1230 [it's almost 1340 now]. It's really hard to tell how long they'll sleep. I just keep my ears open while I'm in the computer room - secluded from them, haha
