I can't believe it!

WOW, first of all...I have to say that things have been a struggle here lately with the boys. They have been teething and have been SOOO fussy and naps have been a pain in my butt and everything else. Well, yesterday I seriously thought I was going to go insane...it was a pretty bad day. Fusiness ALL day long, they only napped for 20 min the whole day...it was a NIGHTMARE and to top it off....DH has been out of town!

Well, this morning I started hearing noises at 6am and I rolled over and thought....NO...I'm still tired. The next thing I know, I wake up and it's 7am. They went back to sleep for an hour! I needed that. Then they were 'talking' in their cribs nicely and I went to get their bottles and came into their room and they were standing their all smiley. I put them both on the floor and they BOTH held their bottles so I was able to change them both with no rolling, squirming OR fighting....PHEW, it was great! Then we played for awhile in the room and came downstairs for solid food. feeding solids has been a fight lately as well but they were happy and content and no fussing and no messes...it was awesome! Then more playtime and usually they fuss in their play area if I'm not right in there but this morning they played together and on their own without me....AWESOME! Then I noticed eye rubbing and a little fussing starting so I put them in their cribs. Jack went RIGHT to sleep and Ryan only stood up once and fussed and I layed him right back down and he went right to sleep. SERIOUSLY???!!!! I'm amazed and impressed and THRILLED! Naps have been SUCH a struggle. They stand in their and fuss and fall and cry and fight, fight, fight it but not today! Now if they sleep at least 2hrs and are happy the rest of the day, I will be over the moon!

Babies are funny like that. They have a bad pattern for a few days then BAM goes back to normal when you least expect it.

that's great that you finally got a nice smooth day with them. sure makes the day so much better
