I cannot believe I did it again

When we moved to VA, I got rid of all of my strollers except for an old double jogging stroller. That stroller is awesome, it goes over sand and rocks and it's just amazing, but it takes up way too much room since it doesn't break down. Well, I was pushing it yesterday and realized that I have a flat tire. And that the tire itself is in such bad shape (the stroller is from 1999.) that I wouldn't be able to fill it without either killing the tire or if there's an intertube, breaking that.

So, at the age of 2 years and a few months, I bought another stroller. We were just going to get two single umbrella strollers but my *husband* (who is 5 inches shorter than me) said that the two single umbrellas were too short for him to push. Which kind of made me surprised, but I'm used to pushing a stroller that is too short for me. So, we got a double umbrella Jeep again. I gave my other one to Megan (mommymeg) before I left and I really liked it, so now I have a new one. Hopefully I'll get some use out of it before they get too big to be pushed.

Im sure you'll get some great use out of it. Especially on long walks/trips when they get tired of walking all the time.

You'll probably get a lot of use out of it. We have a triple jogger that the twins still rode in last summer at 4 1/2. And I'm hoping they'll do it again this summer!! It's the best for our walks down near the beach in the evening. We put them all in their jammies and head out.

I'm sure you'll get plenty of use out of it. I whittled down to just one jogging stroller around age 2, then bought a tandem one for easier daily use. Hope you enjoy it! :)

i am jealous of all of you! mine always hated being confined anywhere, and the stroller is no exception. we moved into our house in oct and i think i've convinced my guys to get in our double (bob) about 3 times since then. we use our wagon a lot (to go places in the neighborhood) but they just hate strollers.... sometimes i can convince one to get in a single and i'll carry the other in an ergo... but i've actually considered selling the bob...... so i envy everyone that can still use a stroller w/2yo's or older!

We're getting a Sit 'n' stand, to hopefully last us through the rest of their 'stroller' years. LOL My daughter already likes standing on the back of the single stroller while her brother is in it.

I had to really convince DH to get THAT though! The girls JUST turned 3, their brother is 18 months. DH just doesn't believe that kids should still be in strollers past the age of 2. We compromised on the Sit 'n' stand becuase it gives a seat for the baby, and at least someplace for the twins to 'sit' if they get tired of walking, which one ALWAYS does! My other daughter will walk all day long if you let her.

It took us walking FOUR miles (yes, FOUR, 2 there and 2 back) up and down the boardwalk one weekend with all 3 kids and NO stroller, to convince him that we did indeed need another one.... Men.

Good luck with your new stroller and I think you will get plenty of use out of it before they are done!

I'm sure you'll get some great use out of it!!! And you could always sell it when you're done so you'll get some of that money back.
Somedays I feel like we will forever have a million strollers LOL...
