I swear my boys live on motrin. Josh's 1 year molars have taken at least 2+ months to come in and they are still working there way up. Jake is now starting to get his 2 year molars but at least for him that will be the end.

They are fine most of the day, but all of a sudden they go from zero to MAJOR meltdown in a matter of minutes. Motrin takes a good 30 minutes to kick in and I don't like giving it to them unless they need it. Sometimes it happens after they wake from their nap, other times it just creeps up when you least expect it.....like today.

We had their hearing test today for EI. Jake did fine & passed, but Josh had a teething meltdown so we had to reschedule. When it happens, it's really bad and there is nothing you can do to help him except wait for the motrin. I get "the look" from so many people and all I can say is he's teething. After we were in the car for about 5 minutes he was back to his usual self and by the time we got home he was laughing and playing.

When we are going somewhere, I will give them motrin just in case because I don't want to deal with two screaming boys for 30 minutes. This has happened on my Dad's birthday and I ended up leaving after only an hour because I foolishly did not bring any with-now I carry it with me at all times.

Josh goes in on Wednesday for his hearing test and I will make sure he is medicated before we leave the house.

I know this too shall pass but it's driving me crazy.

:grouphug: So sorry you're having such a rough time! Teething is not fun at all. Here's hoping those last teeth come in swiftly so you can be done with this!

We are in the same teething boat as you! It's so hard! Thankfully they take turns getting teeth so for the last 3 or 4 months I've had one of them stuck to my hip when we're home. I don't even know how many they have left- I'm afraid to count! :)

Teething stinks, I am with you, I am soooo over it! I think Luke is starting on his second year molars and Sophia still needs her fang teeth and 2nd year molars.
