every morning for the past few days I have gotten up to waves of nausea - nothing bad but it was there. I also just felt pregnant. This morning I feel 100% fine - not a hint of anything. I don't know wether to be thankful or to be scared to death. I just called and spoke to the nurse at my RE's office she said that she gets this call all the time and that if she got a quarter for everytime she would be a millionaire. She told me that if I wanted to come in for a level I could but seriously I should not worry. Well I am terrified and tempted to go in but it is very expensive and a very long drive. I want to not worry but I just can't stop!! what do you think?? should I go?

edited to add I have an appointment for another beta on Tuesday

I'm not sure what to tell you Heather, but personally, I wait since you're already scheduled to go in. On the other hand, I know waiting is not fun.

 Do you have a spare test lying around? I never had morning sickness, but there were times when I just didn't 'feel' pregnant!!! I would pee on the test and it would make me feel a lot better when it came back positive.

 I understand how 'knowing' would be good. I had two weeks of not knowing the outcome waiting for the next ultrasound. I personally would sit it out.. but that is *me.*

I hope you find some answers. I remember those early days in pregnancy and the worry that happens.

    hugs!

I have had those mornings too, and then wham, later I am struck with a good dose of feeling terrible!

If you can wait it out I would try, but I know that is so much easier said than done! I agree with the PP to do a home test to easy your mind :)

Try to relax and take it easy, again, easier said than done! Keep us posted on how things go!

If it makes you feel any better I've been having the same uncertainties... one day I'll be a typical naseous/feel like I'm going to pass out...and then the next I don't even feel pregnant... So I think it's normal.

Maybe you'll be one of those ladies like I was with my older 2 where I only got sick some days and other days I felt just fine. This pregnancy i didn't have m/s once so I called my OB and even asked her at a couple of my appts and she told me every pregnancy is different!

    Heather,
It's good that you did a test and are feeling better. Me Too, with this pregnancy some mornings I would wake up sooo sick and then others I'd be just fine.
    Do Take Care :)

    Edited: because I can't spell!

I've experienced the same thing with this pregnancy, I'm sure it was the same with the twins, but with this one it has caused me a lot of worry. I think because it was an accident I feel that if something were to happen DH would not be willing to try again and I would be heartbroken. I ended up taking 3 tests and would have taken more but I ran out. I felt much better after seeing the little sweetie on the ultrasound. I'm sure your baby is doing great but I understand your concern, I personally cannot wait until the first trimester is over. I'll pray for you and your little bean. :)

I went through periods of throwing up a whole day, then nothing the next, then throwing up again etc. All normal. I think of it as the hormone levels double every 48-96 hours, so I felt like when they "doubled" I got the sickness till I adjusted to that new level then I was fine, then it would happen all over again. Does that make sense?

If you arnet having bleeding, and intense cramps etc (signifying miscarriage) I wouldnt worry! Just try and relax :)

I usually get nauseous late morning/after lunch (and trying really hard to be quiet in the ladies washroom at work because I'm keeping it a secret...)

I bought a 2- pack and retested yesterday! it was still + so I am happy about that! I just keep thinking that I don't deserve to be so lucky  I even told my brother that I was pregnant yesterday and it didn't feel real. I cannot wait until Tuesday's bloodwork and then for my ultrasound I hope they do it sooner than the 29th!! I am trying to keep myself busy packing up this house!
