While I am still not outing myself , I am really sick of being sick. What's freaky this time is that I am ok early in the am but right after lunch and through bed time, I get nauseous and tired. Makes my commute home and daycare pick up fun.

I am happy that the hormonal urge to strangle people who annoy me has subsided.

    Irene,

    meet your new friend.

Seriously, it was the only thing that would cure my queasiness.

I had lots of nausea all day long with both my pregnancies. I don't know where the term morning sickness came from because I wish it was only the morning! For me, eating small amounts frequently and chewing mint gum helped. If my stomach ever got completely empty, the nausea just seemed to compound itself. I tried ginger and lemon stuff, it didn't work for me.

Hard candies worked for me. I sucked on them all.day.long.

I didn't have the kind of "morning sickness" that candy would fix. I am pretty sure I was bordering on hyperemesis. I was in hospital for fluids etc.

I am 22 w 3 d and still on Diclectin and Zofran around the clock.

Zofran is a lifesaver and "Diclectin" aka vitamin B6 and Unisom TRULY kept me out of the hospital! Ask your doc if you're really sick!!

I am not pregnant right now (I wish), but had pretty bad morning sickness w/o vomitting (but lots of vertigo)

have you tried Sea Bands? They are a bracelet around your wrist, really easy to use and if they dont work- not big deal.

We use them for my DD that gets carsick and they work for her too (much better than having her zoned out from dramamine)

Big Macs! This is awful and unhealthy advice, but for me, being full at any moment of the day curbed "morning" sickness and I had to have Big Macs. Ridiculous but so effective.

Taco Bell was my mystery meat of choice.

Oh yeah, that does remind me I took B6 as well. I can't say I know if it really made a difference but it is cheap, safe thing to try. I also had zofran for emergencies when I was working and things got really bad.

 Nothing but time helped me :grr: I did take B6 at one point and had those seabands on but they only helped a bit... once I hit 15 weeks my life got better.

Diclectin and dairy queen burgers! They were on sale for 59 cents for most of my pregnancy, what can I say.

Stacys pita chips and gingerale are helping. I need to go out and get some ginger candy. I have a lead on it from a friend who is pregnant.
