I just got back from doc appt. all is well. I have a frustrating numb spot in my leg, solution is to sit when it happens since it only happens when standing or walking. Easier said than done but whatever! :)

They measured my fundal height and I am measuring at 27 weeks! I am only 18 right now. That freaks me out. I am scared about what that means for the future. For those of you who have measured big did it stay that way or slow down at some point? I just wonder if I will always measure 9 weeks ahead of where I am. WOW!

It was so good though to hear those heartbeats again! :D

My peri never, ever measured my fundal height. Don't stress too hard!

Congratulations on the good appointment!

My boys were always big, all the way to birth. I cannot tell you by how much because my high risk drs would not measure fundal height for twins... to much variance they said. But I can tell you that it got scary to look down at my belly... it seemed like it was so big it was no longer really ME. Not to scare you... it was just so big I couldn't believe it!! I wore DH's tops from the BIG & TALL store. Except for the shoulders/ necklines, they fit me better than maternity clothing. LOL The body is so amazing. Enjoy the miracle!!!

Glad to hear all is well. Hope you are able to manage with the pain.

Once I started measuring ahead I always measured 10 weeks ahead.

I am 33 weeks this week and am measuring 42 weeks!!!! People are really starting to look at me weird. :) They all say the same thing......................... OMG are you due tomorrow????? :) I just smile and keep on walking. The doctor seems to think that I will be measuring about 50-52 weeks when I deliver!!!!!

I measured 45 at 38 weeks. Its not fun, but the size makes you feel better about the health and growth of the babies folded up inside!

I measured 40 weeks at 20 weeks due to TTTS. That was the last time I was measured. I was bigger at that point than I was when I delivered my first 3 sons.

my doc doesn't measure fundal height w/ twins - it doesn't tell you anything useful. Fundal height measurement is used to determine whether a singlton baby is growing on target - but with twins that measurement will always be off and therefore tells them nothing about the growth rate of each baby, and you will likely be having growth ultrasounds to determine whether they're growing properly.

at 19 weeks i measures 27 weeks. and at 26 weeks i measured at 33. It will stay the same somewhat. It also depends on the way that the Dr measures you. You could go and get measured by someone else and come up with a completely different number!

Never got measured either, but you will always measure bigger with twins. I was definitely bigger with my twins earlier than with my singleton.

Last week at 28 weeks I was measuring at 35 weeks. It's kinda fun to see I think, don't let it worry you. You have two babies in there, of course it's going to be bigger than a singleton! Take care hon!!
