I am no longer "mama"

But Mommy :wub: Today DD kept going over and over in her high chair, "Mommy, Mommy" It is so sweet...I am sure someday I will get sick of it but right now I am loving it

 

Awwwww. . .my BF's daughter calls her mommy. My two finally stopped calling me daddy!

 

I'm never sure if they are saying Mama or Milk. And I haven't BFed them since they were 4 months! Congrats on graduating to Mommy! I can't wait!

 

That is so sweet! I remember I would get all goosebumby when dd would say mommy instead of momma. :wub:

 

Aaawww....I use to be called Dada...so happy when they learned Mama. It will be cool if and when they ever switch to Mommy!

Finley has called me Mommy a few times. It is really sweet! But I have to admit, I love Mama. My 5 year old still calls me Mama off and on, and it just makes me melt! :wub:

 

im a big fan of mama too! my 6 yr old knows when to use it to get whatever he wants!!! boys not talking yet but i keep hearing what suspiciously sounds like ayra when they are looking at me - sounds more like lara than mama. im banning dh from calling me by my name!!!

 

I'm jealous. I'm not even really mama yet. My children apparently feel no need to address us by name. They save all their energy for pointing and stating what they want. In my house, milk is called "mama".

One of mine calls me "Mom mom" and sometimes "MMMMM."

 

How fun! I'm still waiting to be called mama...or anything, for that matter.

How exciting! I'm still Mama or Mom for the time being. Really looking forward to being Mommy or Mummy though (DH is British so he refers to me as Mummy).

I've been Mommy for a long time because there are 2 moms here - I'm Mommy and she's Mama.

However, Jackson went through a "mine" spurt where he called me "Mine-y" and that was really heart-melting and cute!!

I'm a Mama fan as well. All my kids call me Mama. I would be confused if they called me Mommy. LOL!
My mother is German and I've always called her Mama so maybe that is why I like it so much.

 

I've wondered what they call your DP.
