    Hi Ladies,

I am 30 weeks 4 days and today when I went to the doctor I measured almost 41 weeks! Is that common to what you ladies are seeing? I am SO uncomfortable and today I have been having a lot of pulling in my lower abdomen and pressure in my crotch. I have never been pregnant before so I am not sure if I am experiencing BH contractions or just the normal stretching/pulling of pregnancy. I am anxious to hear all of your thoughts.

Hey hun! Wow, way to go! I measured 41 cm at 33 weeks! You're ahead of me girl! Since 25 weeks myself have felt SO much pressure in my crotch too... so that's the same with me there.. The stretching on the sides I get a lot too and cramping lots, and im told that's BH..sometimes they are really painful, but they dont last long. As long as they dont get worse or anything it should be good to go :)

    Good luck with your pregnancy!!

Emily, it sounds like you are growing those babies really well!! My BH always felt very uncomfortable and my belly would get rock solid. It would last a few minutes and then go away, especially after drinking alot of water and laying down a bit. As for being uncomfortable, , I think it comes with being pregnant. Hang in there, you are doing a great job.

Last week I was 30 weeks PG and I was measuring 37 weeks.... I thought, well with 6 more weeks to go (give or take) I will be measuring around 52 weeks by the time they are born..... just something to make me chuckle!

Isn't that bizarre how far ahead we measure? People constantly tell me I'm small for twins, if they only knew how much pain I was in, and how small I don't really feel!

I'm right there with you. 30 weeks and four days. And measuring 41 weeks pregnant.

I try to focus on the positive...but I am so dang uncomfortable. I can't move. I can't sleep. I can't think. I am so ready to be done...but I know I need to hang in there....little bits at a time.

The women on this board are great for reminding me that I can make it these last eight weeks.

But no doubt about it....this sucks. It won't for long. But for now....yeesh.

I measured 41 weeks at 31 weeks also and then 46 weeks at 33 weeks. It just keeps going up.

Well when I delivered at 36w4d I measured 52 weeks and some change.... Let me tell you, my subsequent singleton pregnancy was a BREEZE in comparison! 41 weeks, I measured 41 weeks, I was walking a marathon and peope were staring at me like I was NUTS! LOL

Hang in there. you'll be done soon enough. :)

It also depends on the position the babies are in. I was measuring 39 weeks at about 28 weeks but 2 weeks ago I measured 38...the MD said the babies changed positions so my uterus is shaped diff. now...I can tell I am bigger and haved gained more weight so it is strange but this whole experience has been!

    GOOD LUCK!!

Thanks, ladies. I really appreciate the encouragement. It does help to know that the end is in sight and we will get to meet these little babies that we worked so hard for (IVF). My doc won't let me go past 37 weeks, so I am really only about 6 weeks out at most. I CAN DO IT! :)
