I am in total shock!

It is no secret that I have been "burned out" for a couple of years now. :laughing: I have not had much a break from the boys since the day they were born and have been looking forward to them starting pre-K this year.

I swear I must be in la-la land because I had no idea that our schools start on August 13th. That is only a month away. :icon_eek: I kind of feel sad even though I have been looking forward to this for awhile. :cray: Crazy huh?

 

Wow, that's early! I can totally understand being psyched for them to start school, but still sad about it. It's always hard when things don't happen in the way we expect them to. And as wonderful as it will be to have some time for yourself, it's still the end of an era. It's good to appreciate that, too. :hug99:

 

I'm sure the saddness will diminish with your first manicure/pedicure of the school year! :laughing:

Yeah, i'm still waiting to see if Gabe is accepted with Headstart or will have to go to regular Preschool. I saw a sign on the elementary school the other day that said School starts August 6th this year. That has me FREAKED!

Mine start right after Labor Day. They're looking forward to it but I'm nor sure if they realize they'll be going every day. I told them that every day that Daddy goes to work they have to go to school but who knows if they truly get what that means.

I'm happy that they're going but I know I'll be a little sad on the actual day.

 

Ours don't even break up for the holidays until tomorrow. They only go back in the first week of september !
