I am done with fancy bottles! Ones with liners or vent holes, ones with one trillion parts and an air compresser. I am finished washing these special botttles till my fingers get raw! My dad bought the girls about 100 of thsed plain ole plastic bottles and nipples I think it is time to use them!

Just don't microwave them and you should be fine. An entire generation (mine!) survived on those bottles... and they go in the dishwasher lock, stock, and barrel, quite nicely.

I agree it is one of the most frustrating thing to have to tear apart bottles and wash them time and time again when you have so much other stuff to do. :hug99:

good to hear, I've heard so many people singing the praises of podees? and dr. browns and all- and while I plan on bf- we still will use bottles now and then and our old avent stash will do quite nicely- actually just found a set where I can pump into the storage bags & then pop those into the bottle holder-- one less step!! I'm all for simplicity!

I was kind of scared to open this thread. But I'm happy it's bottles that you are done with! I agree with you on washing the "fancy" bottles, go for the old school ones and be happy!

Oh I agree! We started using the plain old-school gerber ones when the girls were a couple months old and we've never looked back. Not only can you wash them in the dishwasher, but they are also super cheap so I can have two whole day's worth of bottles without breaking the bank.. that way I can run the dishwasher only once a day.
