Last night I finally fell asleep around 11, at 11:30 Peyton woke up cying. 1 of them does wake up around that time every night, so I didn't think nothing of it. Well he continued crying and got louder. I was so mad that I had to get up that I started yelling at dh, I wish you'd take care of him and You should have got the living room straightened so I could sit in there (him and his friends ripped the carpeting out so the couch was turned against the window). So I had to sit in the family room on vinyl seats and it's the coldest part of the house.

Back to Peyton, he was crying when I picked him up and walked out the room with him and he burped very loudly! I thought maybe that would help. Well Peyton continued to cry and all I thought was could you please stop and let your mom go back to sleep. He finally settled down in my arms while I rubbed his back. He started falling asleep. All of a sudden he started crying and then the puking started.

I was so worried about me getting back to bed, and here my baby had an upset tummy. I am such a bad mommy! How could I only think of myself when he was only trying to tell me his was sick. [IMG]

He is better now though! [IMG]

I've been there and done that... don't beat yourself up.

I remember leaving a baby to CIO that had a big poop a few weeks ago. Oh well... we're only human. Give them some extra kisses today.

    Cheers,

don't worry about it...it happens to the best of us.

One nite I fed Nate and put him back down to sleep and I went back to bed. I had just fell asleep when he started crying. I was so annoyed and almost didn't get back up thinking "the kids eaten, he is fine." Well, I am glad I got up because when I picked him up he was laying face down in a bed full of puke! [IMG] I felt so bad and was SO thankful that I had gotten up.

It's just things that happen when you are totally sleep deprived!

I think everyone has done something like that. Jamie had worked his blanket over his head one night and cried for 10 minutes before dh got up to get him. He was covered in sweat. He now gets a holey blanket. [IMG]

You're not a bad mom! [IMG] If that makes you a bad mom, then we're all bad moms. [IMG] We've all been there, or will be there someday.

not a bad Mom at all! I have done a few things that I feel bad about afterward, one morning the girls woke up at 6 crying after I had been up with them until mmidnight, so I turned the monitor down thinking they would go back to sleep. I accidentally slept in until 9 and when I got up they were whailing! I haven't forgiven myself yet, but dang sure I am out of bed when they wake up!

Oh, I know you feel terrible, but you aren't a bad mom ... my poor boy started waking up all the time on a Wednesday nite and by Friday night I was so frustrated with him waking up and crying, I just wanted to yell at him ... turned out he had a thread wrapped around 2 of his toes so tight it cut into the skin and the skin had started to heal over it ... I never noticed and I felt so terrible, he was trying to tell me and I was just mad that he kept waking me up ... but you do the best you can. [IMG] You're only human and sleep deprivation can do a number on you!!!
