I am 24 weeks and my husband left today. I have three girls, ages 9, 6, and 1 1/2. I feel pretty damn sad, and I am sure the hormones aren't helping. We are lucky, he is only supposed to be gone for 75 days. If I don't deliver early he will be here. Now I am just worried about bedrest and complications. So far though, so good. I just really miss him. :(

*hugs* I know what it is like to have a hubby in Iraq. I did not have kids at home at the time, so do not have experince with that. I do hope you have no complications and he is there for the birth of the babies.

im so sorry to hear he's gone. my brother is a marine and just got home after being over there for 9 months. and my DH is set to leave for boot camp early to mid feb. i'll be lucky if he's home to see the babies born. i try not to think about it, and when he tries to talk about it i just turn into a ball of tears. i guess i must face the facts the way you have! well stay rested and keep those babies cooking!

Sorry that you are feeling bad. It may be difficult at times but you will get through it. I hope you have support from friends and family. Just think of the stories you can tell your twins as they get older. Hang in there. :hug99:

I am so sorry to hear that. I hope he comes home soon and safe! My cousin just retired from the Navy and he was over there for a while. He was gone a lot, while his children were growing. He is glad to be home with them now. My BIL, and FIL, both just got back recently, they are in the Army. God bless your hubby and I will pray for you, him and your family! Surround yourself with lots of goodness and know that we are all hoping for the best for you!

    Sending you lots of :hug99:

:hug99: :hug99: :hug99: My husband is Army and he served a 13 month tour when my girls were 15 months old. I moved back home to get the support I needed from family. I hope you have family close to you that can help you. I will keep your family in my prayers that your pregnancy is safe and smooth while DH is deployed. You can PM for my email address me if you ever need to have someone to vent or talk too.

Big HUGS!!! I hope he gets home safe and QUICKLY! We were blessed, as my DH was supposed to be gone for a long TDY the week after I got put on bed rest, his col. kept him home so he could take care of me. If things do arrise, I will pray that his commanding officers will take care of things appropriately! :)
