I'm currently reading the book and just wanted to see who saw a change in the "six week peak". It notes that this is 6 weeks after their due date. Well, my girls will be 6 weeks adjusted this coming Friday, but 2 months 1 week old.

I know every child is different but I was just wondering who saw that change in fussiness or any change at all at the 6 week peak?

Yes indeed.. From 6 weeks to 14 weeks was the worst time of my entire life. I heard it would be bad BUT.. NOT THAT BAD!! Good luck! At 14 weeks ADJUSTED--- smooth sailing.............. A whole different ball game! :) Hang in there!

For us weeks 6-8 were the hardest, then it slowly started getting easier, so definitely a peak in there. It finally started getting easier around the 14 week mark (so 12 weeks adjusted).

Hang in there, you are in the thick of it now!

The worst for us was 6-12 weeks, then at 12 weeks they were alot less fussy, like a light switch was turned off it was crazy!!!

Dont cry! You can do this! Just recently in the last week or so my girls started becoming A LOT happier all around (mine are 3 months adjusted). Thankfully, there is light at the end of the tunnel...

At 2 1/2 months adjusted things got much better, 3 1/2 months HSHHC really started to work.

    Hang in there

    Kelly,
You're flipping funny! YES.. at least it got MUCH MUCH MUCH worse over here... It was between weeks six ACTUAL and 14 adjusted (so.. yes, that means it was A LONG LONG LONG time like until 18 weeks ACTUAL. It was brutal.

At 12 weeks ACTUAL I could feel my head floating above water every now and then.. But, like I said, at 14 weeks adjusted;;; it was like the skies parted and I could breathe again!

Just GET THROUGH this time one hour at a time and it will be all better very soon.. You are "IN IT" right now.. but you will make it out alive, I am sure of it!

For us it was about 10 weeks past my due date that things started really calming down and they actually had a "bed time"

oh I hear you, honestly I remember reading those pages in that book 100 times, about the 6wk peak fussiness. When we were are at 6wks, i would chant every night "we are in peak fussinesss time", that means that after 6wks things do get better. Well, we are at 9.5wks and things are a bit better, not a bunch better, but better then at 6wks that's for sure. At 6wks everynight was fussy night and they didn't go to "sleep" until like 11-12, now they usually go to "sleep" by 9-10pm (I am using the word sleep losely) and they have good nights now where they aren't as fussy. I myself am still looking forward to the 3-4month mark when things get even better.
