How weird is this?

My dh and I fell pregnant immediately with the twins after we got married. When they were six months old, I went off all birth control as it was making me ill. Also I didnt want artificial hormones in my body. It's been a year and we have not fallen pregnant yet! At first it was a sort of relief, but now I find it just weird!

Maybe it's a blessing in disguise.. (for now that is). My twins are like puppies! Whatever they're doing they create a HUGE mess! And they're quite the handful! I don't know how I would cope being pregnant and running after them..

Assuming no other medical issues, it's all about the timing. If you're not "active" during your fertile time, then no baby. Plus, if you're bf-ing or did bf it could take a while for things to get back to normal. It also could be a factor as to what kind of birth control you were on.

Have you taken tons of tests?

 

My brother & SIL were this way.. their first was an 'oopsie' but then it took several months of trying to get their 2nd. I hope it works out for you soon!

 

I believe things happen in their own time. Some things are out of our hands!
