Jessy has not been eating breakfast and lunch the past two days and eating very little at dinner(I gave her pedisure last night at bedtime and she drank a bottle and 1/2). What do you do to make them eat? She isn't drinking much either and I'm worried about her getting dehydrated! She has a sinus infection and has just a couple of days left of antibiotics. She has been very fussy today which isn't normal for her. I am taking her to the pedi tomorrow because her sinus infection really isn't better(I think it may be allergies and she needs different/another med). Any suggestions?

[SIZE=10pt]It sounds like she is fighting a bug. Hopefully the pedi can help.

Mine have gone through phases where they do not eat and are typically related to the following: teething, not feeling well or just plain old being picky. It sounds like she may be sick. In that case I try to make sure they are getting plenty of fluids and give them whatever they will eat.

When I can tell that they are not sick, but still refusing to eat I usually keep putting there food out there. If they want it great, if not then that is all they get. Eventually they come around.

    Hang in there!

For lunch I gave her some cheezits, baked apple slices(strawberry apple flavor), yogurt, sun dried berries and a couple of peanut butter m&m's. She ate most of it as she loves all of those foods.

If she weren't sick, Iwould say she's holding out for the "good stuff" but I would let her get well and give her the best stuff you can that she'll actually eat. Fruit might go over well while sick? It would around here. Good luck!! I think Nicole really had the best ideas!

Neither of my girls are picky eaters both like a wide variety of food. Both breakfasts were cereal(little einstiens fruity stars) and freeze dried fruit , which they both really like. I can't remember what my grandma tired to feed her for lunch yesterday.

How did the appointment go? Is she feeling any better or eating more?

    Hang in there!

We've been dealing with really bad sore throats for about a week. Sarah had it bad last weekend, screamed al lday Sunday. DS and DH had it Tuesday -Friday and I think Grace has it now. Not strep, but feels about as bad according to DH.

James' glands were supper swollen so I knew something was up.

    Hope shes better soon!
