How to disable Vanish Mode on Instagram if you accidentally turned it on?

Hey, I gotta ask — the other day I was texting someone on Instagram, and suddenly all our messages started disappearing! I didn’t realize I had enabled something called Vanish Mode. It was kind of annoying because I didn’t want our conversation to vanish. I tried swiping around but wasn’t sure how to get back to normal chat mode. Has anyone else run into this? How do you properly disable Vanish Mode without losing your messages? Would appreciate some tips because I want to avoid this happening again.

I recently had to set up a small network at home and was surprised by how many different types of ethernet ethernet cable there are out there — Cat5e, Cat6, shielded, unshielded... it got overwhelming fast.
