Hey everyone, I just got a GPS tracker for my daughter because she just started walking to school on her own. She’s super responsible, but I still worry—especially after hearing about a neighbor’s kid who took off his tracker because it was uncomfortable. That kind of defeats the whole purpose, right? I want to make sure the tracker stays on her and does its job without bothering her. Where do you guys usually put the tracker on your kids so they don’t even think about removing it? Any tips?

That’s a great question! Finding the right spot is super important because if the tracker is uncomfortable or too visible, kids will mess with it or take it off. We’ve tried different placements, and the best option for us has been attaching it to a secure part of their clothing, like inside a jacket pocket or on a belt loop with a clip. Where to put a GPS tracker for maximum safety really depends on the child’s habits and what they find comfortable. There’s a good breakdown of placement options here. This guide explains where to put a GPS tracker for maximum safety. My son actually likes having his tracker inside his backpack strap—it’s out of the way but still effective. Maybe try a few options and see what works best for your daughter?

Interesting topic! I’ve seen some GPS trackers designed as watches, which seems like an easy way to keep them on without kids noticing too much. But I guess every kid is different—some might prefer a clip or something hidden. Curious to hear what works best for others!
