How to brush my baby's tiny teeth

Hi Ladies,

One of my sons had FINALLY two tiny teeth popping up slowly. :yahoo: :yahoo: How do you brush your babies' teeth and how often?

Before 1 year old we just wiped them with a washcloth when we washed their faces.

 

I used one of those finger brush things until they start chomping too hard on that...then time to move to the first baby toothbrush.

 

Same here! :woo: for teeth!

 

Ditto! And now I'm starting to use a toothbrush and a little baby toothpaste!

 

I'm another one who just wiped them with a soft cloth. I tried the finger brush but they would bite down so hard on my finger that I gave up!

 

We use baby toothbrushes (not the finger kind). We got them from our dentist. They hate having their teeth brushed, though. We can get about 10 seconds in.

 

banana brush. It's shaped like a banana with a brush on one end and made of rubber. it's also used for teething, so the babies end up brushing their own teeth.

 

:yahoo: Congratulations on teeth! I also used a wash cloth until they were about 10 months old and had several teeth...we introduced the baby toothbrush w/ baby toothpaste and followed with the wash cloth until they got the hang of the toothbrush.
