How soon did your second one walk?

Just for fun, once one of your babies was walking, how soon did his or her twin follow suit?

So far my boys have hit all their milestones within days of each other. Nick rolled first and then Alex spent two days trying to copy his brother until he got it. Nick also crawled first and you could see how frustrated Alex would get when Nick would crawl away from him. Once again, he just kept trying and trying and within a week he was crawling too. They both sat up and pulled at almost the same time. Alex pulled up first, but Nick saw him do it and just copied it. There was no really effort put into it.

Alex has better balance and he often stands on his own now. He has started taking 2-3 steps and I expect that he'll be walking any day now. If he is like his older sisters, then he'll be running shortly after that. Nick doesn't seem to have any interest in walking so I'm really curious to see if Alex walking will motivate him. Nick is a much mellower guy so I'm not sure if he'll react the same way his brother did to the other stuff.

DS started walking first. DD was standing for about a month and started walking a little over a month after DS:)

Mine were 4 months apart! DD was very determined to walk. She started at 10 months. My DS was pretty relaxed and content. He seemed happy crawling for a long time. He finally started walking at 14 months. He was much more cautious than my DD. Now they are both daredevils.

One day and he was the one who did everything first. I was soooo happy when Josh finally did something before Jake.

Exactly one month. He started the day before their first birthday and she was exactly one month later. And then my third child started at 10 months!! Was not ready for that. :)

DD was walking about 11 months and DS took his first steps at 12 months but was not a full blown confident walker until 14 months.

DS started walking on his first birthday and dd didn't let go until about a month later BUT, now she jumps and hops all over the place and he tries so hard to match her but just can't quite coordinate getting both legs off the ground at the same time, yet :tease: !

My two were a month apart with walking. My DD walked at 13 months and DS (who is much more careful with risky things like that  ) started at 14 months. :good:

Amy walked at 12 months and Sarah at 15. Sarah was always just way less motivated.

Alice walked at 13 months, Royce at 14, but didn't really start walking until 16. He could walk before, but chose not to. He was really really fast crawling and didn't want to slow down.

I was totally expecting them to be early walkers because I was (7 months, but that's according to my mom who could be exagerating). I was relieved when they still weren't walking on their birthday.

Jack started walking just after 11 months, and Nate was about 13 months. Nate could outpace Jack while crawling, so I'm sure he saw no reason to slow down.
