How quickly after you stopped meds...

    How soon after you stopped taking medications did you go into labor?
    I'm on terbutaline and will be stopped in a week and a half. I'm just curious how quickly I can expect to go into labor.

    I have been off of the procardia for 12 days and still holding at 3cm. I was thinking it was going to happen a lot faster but I guess they are comfy in the tummy now :)

    I don't have any experience with the meds but I just wanted to tell you CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I am so excited for you!

    I was told to stop taking my terbutaline at 36w. I did. I had mine at 36w3d.

    The being said, I didn't suddenly dilate like crazy ... I was only 1.5 cen dilated when I had my c-section ... but I was having contractions like crazy ... so my doc decided to delivery me!

    My water broke almost exactly 24 hours after I pulled out my terb pump. I guess it really works!

    A friend of mine stopped terb at 35 weeks and had to be induced at 38w1d. It's all about your body and when the babies are ready!

    I went into labor 2 days after the doc's pulled Procardia. Water broke for baby A at 10:00pm and labor started around 3:00am. They were born by c-sec at 7:36 and 7:37 am (baby A was breech).

    I was taken off the terb last thursday & am still going strong. On monday I was 3cm 75%effaced but I'm not uncomfortable at all yet. I have another appoint tomorrow am so we'll see what's going on then, my Md seems to think I will deliver by the weekend.
