Just curious as the pedi said that maybe Ashley was teething and I feel it's too early (especially as she was only 4 and half pounds when she was born!)

In the last week, my son has gotten 4 teeth!!! [IMG]

But teething is one of those 'baby is fussy and nothing else seems to be wrong' things. We always trail off with 'it could be their teeth...???' when we can't diagnose anything else.

Ben started around 9 months and Hannah started at 13 months. They never showed any signs of teething until they started to get their molars. I was lucky.

My sons seemed to start at 2 months and got their first teeth at 4 months. Now Eli has 8 teeth and Peyton has 7 they are 9 months.

Josie got her first tooth at 5 1/2 months old, but I never knew she was teething. All of a sudden she had two teeth! Bella started teething around 6 months, but she didn't actually pop through any teeth until 7 1/2 months.

Around 7.5 months here. They didn't really get fussy, but they did put up a big stink about eating off a spoon.
Better now, but they've only got 3.5 teeth between the two of them. Sy's finally getting her second bottom front tooth just this week.

My girls cut their first four teeth at once when they were 5 months. It was rough. They had swollen, red gums for over a month before they finally came in.

At 4 months, my girls started drooling, chewing on everything and getting rashes.

Teeth didn't start arriving until 10 months. Sam has 2. Syd has 2 and 4 more are coming in at once.

People have been telling me "Oh, Johnny's teething" from almost the moment he was born. He's just one of those kids who drool a lot.

We got teeth at 8 mos. Zoe got her 2 bottom ones first (within 2 days of each other) then Johnny just got his 2 bottom ones this week. I didn't even know Zoe was teething until I saw the white bumps in her gums. Johnny I kind of thought maybe he was, since he started waking up at night again & acting like he was in pain. Since the teeth popped through, he's been sleeping better again.

I think my boys have been starting to teethe the last few weeks. They have been crabby, running low grade fevers off and on, and have been drooling off and on. I don't feel anything in their gums, but, they sure are showing the signs!

My ds had 4 teeth by the time he was 5 months, Manda got 4 teeth in one week right after hitting 6 months, and Sydney still has no teeth. I have heard of rare occurances where babies are born with teeth. I think a friend's baby got one at 3 months, so it isn't too soon.
