I are doing 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months. But I wist I choose birth, 6 months, 12 months.

 

I'm a little overboard...I get their pictures taken every month.

 

I do newborn, three, six, nine and one year.

 

I only got their pictures professionaly done at 3 months - because I take tons of pictures with my digital.

 

OMG! I feel like a slack mommy! I have only had their pics professionally done at 6 months (they are 7 months now).....but I do take pics w/ my digital camera all the time!!!

 

I only did professional pictures at 3 months and then again at 15 months. I take so many digital pictures.

 

I did 2 months (after their NICU stay), 3 months, 6 months, and will go again at 12 months. The 18 months, 2 years, 3 years, ...

I skipped 9 months because they turned 9 months the day after Christmas and we had so many holiday pics that I figured we didn't need to spend the extra money on the professional pics too.

 

My plan was to do them monthy. We have one of those monthy photo frames that hang on their bedroom wall. We did for the first 3 months. It felt like all we were doing was preparing for the next month and it was expensive. At that 3rd month, we decided it was crazy to take them in since we have our own digital camera and have more time to get them to smile then when they are at a studio place. Maybe we will take them in for their 1 year but it is so less stressful taking them at home!

 

6 mos., 1 year, 18 mos., 2, 3, etc.

 

I have done 10 days, 2 mo., 4 mo., 6 mo., 9 mo., and 12 mo. with all 4 kids...the only way I've been able to afford it is my mom bought me the "membership" for no sitting fees and I get the coupons for 3.99 a sheet and limit myself to 5 sheets of pics! (unless gma and gpa want to buy more!)

We did them at 6 months and will be going in two weeks to get their one year pictures done. From here on out it will be yearly.

 

We are doing 3mos, 6mos, 9mos, 12mos and I've taken tons of digitals in between.

 

I'm one of the crazy ones too! We have done monthly, on top of 40-70 digitals per month (already in albums - woohhooo!). We go to JC Penny because with a coupon you can get sheets for $3.99 a piece. We get 5x7's every month for grandparents and every three months for aunts and uncles. I am such a photo nut! I have also been making triplicates of some pictures so I have a stack for each baby for their own use for the future.

Ditto...to all except the 5x7's for aunts and uncles. I am also very fortunate to have a brother and SIL that are photographers - although they are down in Santa Barbara - over 5 hours away. We do pay them though, so we try to limit it some. The Pennys way is great and they take some great pics. I actually hate doing it because it is so stressful (it's even hard with a family member doing it in your own home), but I love having all of the pictures! Stephanie
