How often are/were your ultrasounds

I'm almost 27 weeks with a mono/di pregnancy. So far everything has been perfect, but my next scheduled ultrasound 7/10 is 5 weeks after my most recent one. Should they be closer together to check for ttts?

 

I would be uncomfortable going 5 weeks between u/s with a mono-di pregnancy. With my mono-di boys, I had an u/s every 10 days from weeks 21 (when I transferred to an MFM instead of my regular OB who only wanted to do an u/s every month) thru weeks 28 and then I had an u/s every week from weeks 28 thru delivery at 35 weeks.

Maybe you can call your OB and tell him/her that you aren't comfortable waiting that long for another u/s and request that he/she schedule one sooner?

 

mine were weekly from 18 to 26 weeks and are now spaced out at 3 week intervals. from what my specialist tells me the risk for ttts drops drastically after 26 weeks so you should be in the clear.

 

U/S Department
Every 4 weeks from weeks 20-30
Every week from 30 weeks until birth

Doctor's Office
Every 2 weeks from weeks 20-28
Every week from 28 weeks until birth

NST's began at 31 weeks at once a week
At 33 weeks at twice a weeks until birth

Hmmm, can't help you as mine are di/di.... but I did have them every four weeks, until I hit 34 weeks and now I will have them every two.

 

I have had them every 4 weeks up until the one at the end of July when I will be about 24 weeks then they are all booked for every 2-3weeks at the end. I see my doctor right after my ultrasounds too so it comes in handy! And I may have more depending on how things are going. I have 5 more ultrasounds from now until October that are booked.
