How much weight is actual "baby" weight?

    Baby + all the extras.. Placenta, water, and bags??

    Good question!!!

    I just realized how truly big I really am today. I went to the mall to "get one more shirt" and ended up with three. Well, I realized that my belly really is big. I thought shopping mirrors were supposed to be flattering? :)

    Looking forward to hearing what people have to say... I've gained 35 pounds and only 10 are the twins!

    For Singletons it's 10-12 pounds for the placents, amnio fluid, etc. So it probably also depends on if you've got identical or fraternal. I would expect more weight with fraternal because there are 2 placentas. Now I'm very curious so I'm going to have to do some research.

    I guess i should have stated that.. I am having Fraternal twins. Two placentas.. I tried to do some research.. but i am kinda lazy now..

    I am really not sure, I am 21 weeks and 1 day and as of my last appt gained 30 lbs. I get to find out tomorrow just how much more I have packed on. I am really not worried about it since I gained 50 lbs with my second son and lost it all within 3 months. But 30 lbs at 17 weeks is kind of crazy. And by the way as of July 19th the babies only weighed in at 11 1/2 oz a piece.

    How funny! I'm almost due the same day as you and I've gained 29 pounds! I gained 60 pounds with my daughter (who is 2 1/2) and also lost it all in 3 months.
