a big fat ZERO pounds! Left the house at 230, came home at 230!!! My ankles stayed swollen for a couple weeks after birth, but I think in the first 2-3 weeks I dropped like 40 pounds (of the 70 I gained)...I think I had a lot of water retention...now I'm just working on the last 20-30 pounds!

I believe I was of the lucky few who was LOWER than my pre pregnancy weight when I left the hospital, but I also only gained around 30-35 lbs.

Now, that does NOT mean that I fit into my pre pregnancy clothes by any means...I'm still quite puzzled as to where the extra weight was lost from since it definitely wasn't my waist, thighs, butt, or boobs!!!!!

I thought the craziest thing was my pre delivery to post delivery weight. In one day, I dropped 28 lbs!

Congrats on your upcoming arrivals & try not to stress about weight loss already! I do highly recommend the breast feeding diet, in that I lost even more while I was doing that ;)! I'm actually currently about 20 lbs less than the day I found out I was pregnant.....

Now if only I could get the twin skin to go away..................

[SIZE=10pt]I lost almost 30 pounds in the first week after the twins were born. I weighed close to the same as I did before I got pregnant...but definitely didn't look the same. I lost a lot of muscle and everything seemed to shift to different areas :)

Wow- interesting. Not stressed, really just curious. Now, talk to me this summer if I haven't lost most of it & I might be stressed. My 20 year reunion is this summer (how that's possible, I don't know.) so I at least have a goal to work towards!!

I think 30 lbs is what I lost. I had two over 7 lb babies though.

By the time the little ones were 3 weeks old I had lost 60.

They are now over 9 weeks and I have lost 70 lbs.

I gained 90 total, so 20 more to go. And Just so you know that weight came off by itself; I do not eat healthy or exercise. Ha

Gained 30...lost over 20 before I left the hospital. But what I care about MORE is that 3 1/2 weeks post-partum, I'm soooooo close to fitting in my pre-pregnancy jeans. Some I do, but my skinny ones and expensive designer ones (who am I kidding...that's only one pair...can't afford more unless they are at nordstrom rack...) I can't quite fit into to just yet.

That's QUITE different than my first two pregnancies...which I didn't lose the weight from either until THREE YEARS after the second one was born.

I lost about 15 at the hospital. At about a month PP I lost most of the water weight and was down 30 total. I gained 40 with the pregnancy.

As of now 4 months and 1 week post delivery, I am down 50 lbs, so yes, 10 lbs less than pre-preg. I did IVF though and had a m/c in Dec before IVF. Needless to say I had put on some extra lbs during that time so I started a little bigger than I should be normally.

I am about 15 lbs from my ideal weight. I attribute all the weight loss to breast feeding. I haven't changed my diet much at all.

Put on 24 lbs and lost it at birth. But I had put on an extra 20lbs. a few months before when I was on prometrium trying to save a pregnancy from m/c. Only lost about 7 lbs of that before getting pregnant again. Doesn't help with my singleton 11 yrs ago I had gained 40 and never lost it.

I had only lost around 15 by the time I got home. But within a week of being home I was down another 10.

I lost 40 lbs. I had only gained 20 during my pregnancy, so I went home 20 lbs under pre-pregnancy weight. I was back in my pre-pg jeans within the week, though they need some assistance staying up.

I lost 4 pounds... seriously. I had 14 lbs of baby but only lost 4 lbs. I started retaining fluid after the c/s apparently.

I don't think I had lost much when I left the hospital b/c of all the fluid retention. By my 6 week post-pard check up I had lost about 50. Too bad I gained about 80!

I came home from the hospital weighing less than when I got pregnant ... but I only gained 17lbs in my pregnancy, and had 11lbs of baby ... so it was all pregnancy ... I was one of the few that had a **** of a time gaining weight during my pregnancy ... but NO problem once I came home ... I probably gained 15-20lbs in the first 6months of their lives from all the CRAP I ate ... (McDonalds, Pizza, Chinese) whatever we could squeeze in between dealing with newborns ... I'm now on Weight Watchers to lose that weight (down 16lbs so fat! woo hoo) but ... ugh. It's a never ending battle.

Most important thing though, don't stress about it. A lot of it will come off with in the first few weeks just from having the babies ... and then take your time working on the rest. It's hard enough having twin newborns at home, don't stress yourself out about the weight loss! Good luck, momma to be!

Gained about 75, lost 50 in the first week - I think it was about 25 lbs babies, etc. and about 25 lbs of water. The rest was gone after 4 months of nursing...

I gained 45. Lost 10 in the hospital...didn't lose anymore until about 2.5 months. By 4 months I was 20 below PP weight. Twins were the best thing for my body! I BF and I know that contributes. I'm back to my high school weight.

I gained about 70 pounds overall. I had significant water retention issues that required meds 3 days post delivery. Not fun.

I lost about 50 pounds of that weight in the first two weeks. The rest had to come off the hard way. It's off now and I have kept it off, but I now am the proud owner of a muffin top. :(

I think I was only down 10 lbs when I came home from the hospital. The rest of the 30 lbs I gained came off about 4 weeks later. And about 2 months later, I was down another 20 lbs.

I think I lost over half the weight I gained (I gained 50lbs) but I was SOOO incredibly swollen for the first week it was sick. I've never seen ankles so big and I had sausage fingers.....seriously, it was SCARY! Now at 4 weeks post partum, I'm below my pre-pregnancy weight and have yet to really start working out. My body is different though...not sure where my boobs went and I now have a belly pooch <_< and hips...oh, well.

I asked for a scale in the hostipal. The doc laughed saying this was the first time he had ever had a woman ask for a scale right after giving birth. I gained 40 pounds during the pregnancy. 24 hours after giving birth I had lost 20 pounds!! I was back in my pre-preg jeans at my 2 week check up!

    Gained 32, down 25 when I left.
I was back in my jeans in 2 weeks but they pressed on my incision so that wasn't very comfortable.
My body hasn't changed that much... just some twin skin and a little pouch. I'm going to a PT for some issues with my back and abs.
Still holding onto 5 right now and would like to lose another 5.

I am still nursing 2x a day and workout 5-6 times per week. I need to increase my running to drop the last few and stop eating ice cream! MMMMMM chocolate!

I aiming for prom in 2 months! (Yes, I'm a high school teacher and I'm vain. I don't want to be blimp in my dress for all the seniors to see!).

I lost 22 initially and then another 13 or so when I got home. I have 12 more to go and I am 5 weeks out and breastfeeding. I am really close to putting on those prepreg pants but still have a little pooch.

I had gained 50 lbs and by 2 days pp I'd lost 22 lbs. By my 6 wk pp appt I'd lost 45. I'm now about 8 lbs below pre-pg weight. Weird thing is my rings still don't fit. I think I'm going to have to get them resized. My fingers are permanently chubby!

OMG I went in at 210lbs the babies weighed 6lbs each and I left the hospital 200lbs I don't know how! I think my body was retaining every bit of fluid I put in,I was really really swollen from all the pitocin. I now weigh 130lbs

Pre-pregnanct I was 124. I went in to deliver the boys weighing 160, left weighing 158...no kidding. My boys weighed far more than 2 pounds put together so I was a bit confused. And then I looked in the mirror at the gorilla I saw before my very eyes and realized that I had retained a massive amount of fluid. I couldn't even get the velcro adidas slides on my foot and the velcro was extended to the max! I blame this all on the fact that one of my coworkers showed me a picture of her feet post birth and I laughed at her for months. I could not believe the size of her feet and mine more than doubled hers! That's karma.

Started at 130 pre-pregnancy - I gained 38lbs during pregnancy and lost over 20 in the hospital, rest came off within 2 1/2 weeks after. I actually weigh less now than I have in 2 years! WAHOOOOO - HOWEVER....my stomach will never ever ever be the same. Oh well!!! Maybe I will get a tummy tuck someday!?!

Five weeks post delivery and I have lost 31 of the 44 pounds I gained during the pregnancy. However, I am not eating healthy or exercising at this point either

None, I think I gained. I never swelled my entire pregnancy long but I swelled up like a balloon after my c-section.

I actually gained more with my singleton. With the twins I had GD so I was on a strict diet. I gained 24 lbs with them & 35 with Cody. It took about a year after the twins were born for the weight plus some to come off. I am just now starting to lose the weight with this one. I even BF Cody & kept on more weight that way.
