I have the infant drops and the darned bottle says to "ask a doctor" for the dose. grrr.

Wesley's 6 months and 20+ lbs. (and going nuts alternately screaming and chewing anything in his reach)

    One dropper full?

At 6 months, our pedi told us to use the .4 line on the dropper for teething.

Is there any reason why you are using Tylenol? Motrin is better as a pain reliever and Tylenol is a better fever reducer - just an FYI. I know that they don't like to give Motrin to babies under six months, but you said yours were six months and 20+ lbs., so they should be fine with the motrin. Mine seem to respond better to Motrin when they are teething. Of course, ask your pedi if it's okay....my one DD is cutting her 2 front teeth right now!!!!!!!!!! Poor thing!!

at my boys 6 month app, the ped said not to give motrin. He said if tylenol does not work to reduce fever or if it does not help pain, then call him before giving motrin.

We were told to use .8- I would call your dr. though

Thank you for the links, ladies.

I was using tylenol because that's what I had on hand. I wasn't about to take squealing baby out to get something else when I hadn't even tried what I had first. Ped said it was fine and gave me the same answer as the chart provided here (1.2, or a dropper and a half) (though a good half dropper full got spit back out at me).

It seemed to do the trick. [IMG]

At that age I think I was told 0.4 on the dropper every 4-6 hours.
