my boys are 7 weeks old, and it seems like the only time they spend together is when they're sleeping in their crib. they're on offset scheduels which seems to be working for now. so they're only both awake for a couple hours combined a day. and I really don't do so great at holding them both at the same time anyway. every time I try I always end up having to put one down. but I'm worried that I'm messing up their "twin bond" if they're never together how is that gonna grow? so I'm wondering how much "together time" your twins have/had at this age? and how they start to form a strong bond when they're always asleep when they're together?

am I making any sence? anyway, I'd love to hear about your twins and how they've bonded with each other.
    thanks!

    Hi michelle!!
Mine spend all day together now, and do not sleep in the same room. I have heard the "real" twin bond comes after the first year. They are now taking each others toys and playing together.

Mine are together all day as well. Eat, play, and sleep together in the same room! [IMG]

Mine are always together. If we go somewhere and a friend takes one across the room, they constantly look for each other. Even though they are fraternal, they seem very close and love to touch one another. They do sleep by themselves, but in the same room.

Ours are together all the time. When one of them was sick it was sad seeing one of the high chairs empty. They eat, sleep, play, daiper change together. It helps me out..do everything twice!!

Dont worry about it, you wont mess up their bond, you will see it as they get older. My girls didnt really realize anyone else was there until they were 6-8 months old. Even now they spend quite a bit of time apart because Madison likes to crawl on top of Brooke and Brooke doesnt like that one bit [IMG] But when they are in the stroller they grab for eachother.
No need to stress right now [IMG]

Mine are together all day except for naps and sleep, they are in separate rooms for those. Otherwise they are on the same schedule and spend all day together.

Don't worry the twin bond is already there and as they get older will be awake more to play and it will get stronger.

They have plenty of time to form a bond. My guys didn't even realize there was another baby until they were about 5ish months anyway.
