How much prevacid

Both of my girls have bad reflux problems and we are on AXID and Prevacid. I am curious to see how much Prevacid anyone else is using. Someone made a comment that they are taking an adult dose so I would like to see what your kids are taking???

 

Only my boy is on Prevacid. He started on the solution (twice daily), but that wasn't stable enough so at 4 months we changed him to the Solutabs (so much better). He started on 1/2 tablet per day but soon he started to spit up blood so we increased the dose to 2 times 1/2 tablet and we never had problems again after. He's still spitting up, but we're getting closer to the end. We'll start weaning at 8-8 1/2 months and hope he'll be off by 9 months without many issues.

 

Both mine are on 1/2 tabs, twice daily (total of 15 mg each baby daily)

 

Jake is on 1/2 tab, twice a day. (15mg daily)

Both of my boys are on 15mg Solutabs. I have to give them 1tab twice a day morning and night. They are also 4 months old and are on the enfamil ar. things seem to be working so far. Not quite as bad spitting up now.

 

Only one of my boys is taking it. He's taking 1/2 tab of 15mg tab once a day, but I'm calling the doc right now to increase the dosage since the reflux isn't getting any better.
