Girl, you will probably feel soooo many different kinds of pains...even in the early stages. I know I did! Just go with your gut feeling based on the fact that a twin pregnancy comes with many different pains and nearly all of them are to be expected. If it gets worse and your next doc's appt. is far off, then I suppose I would call. But my guess is, it's just part of your body adjusting to a twin pregnancy. I am 32 weeks pregnant and looking forward to this being over and my girls coming home! I am sooooooooo miserable!!!

I do agree that you will have many aches and pains during your twin pg... First I would say, take it easy...if you are uncomfortable walking, then stop... the exercise perogative with multiples needs to be really carefully monitored based on how well you feel... if you feel pressure walking, then only walk when it is necessary. If this is your first pg, I do encourage you to let your doctor know about pain and pressure.... Simply b/c those who are prone to PTL or incompetent cervix don't know it until they go through it.... better to be overly cautious than have something bad happen. Pain along the sides/down near your pelvix bones is probably round ligament pain. Pressure "down there" can be normal... but it can also be due to a funnelling cervix... if you feel it consistently, if it doesn't just come and go, then don't be afraid to mention it to your doctor. A simple u/s can see if your cervix is doing okay and will relieve your stress. Most women who go through PTL are surprised.... so don't try to just be a "tough cookie." It's a different story if you've been pg before and know how to read your body better...but on the first pg any doctor with common sense will be sympathetic enough to check out these worries...if for nothing else than relieving your brain from worry.

I'm exhausted. I really started feeling REALLY exhuasted with aches all over after 28 weeks.......now at 35 weeks I'm feeling TONS of aches and pains mostly around my pelvic bone, upper thigh areas from pressure I guess.
Hang in there, it only gets worse  lol But its all worth it at the end!

I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and I'm having the same pains you are. Last night I bent over the dishwasher and when I stood up there was a sharp pop just to the left of my navel. It scared the bejesus out of me but it didn't really hurt. I guess its my ab muscles moving apart. I know about the who-who thing, it feels like it's being pushed out!

You are certainly early on, and aches and pains are par for the course. If it is constant and does not go away with water, rest, and/or time, then call. It is better to be safe than sorry. Chances are, you are just experiencing round ligament pain. But it can certainly be uncomfortable.
